Meet The Tutors
Rose-Ellen (also known as Rose Kemp) spent a decade making records and touring. She has been a tutor at Stones Barn since its inception and is now completing her Speech and Language Therapy degree at Newcastle University.
Don is a Scottish poet, writer and musician. He has lead many fascinating poetry courses at the Barn
Rick Kemp is a bass player, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is a current and long-serving member of Steeleye Span. He has worked with many musicians and bands over the years. Rick leads the song writing courses
Karine Polwart is an award winning Scottish singer-songwriter and a fantastic tutor. She writes and performs music with a strong folk and roots feel.
